Abel may not be wearing some threads all the time, but he’s always had a keen sense for style and fashion. And besides, red never gets out of style. Being a good friend of Karl Lagerfeld, Abel was introduced to Raf Simons and they quickly got along with their creative visions. They were both offered the job as chief creative officer at Calvin Klein, but Abel let Raf take it, the little red guy was far too busy with other projects. Still, Abel remained a good friend with Simons, and they both keep checking in with the other for inspiration and fresh ideas. Who knows, maybe Abel goes into modeling, just for the fun of it…
