When you are the great-nephew of jazz pianist Alice Coltrane and the legend himself, John Coltrane, you know you’ve got some mad talent running through your veins. Abel keeps telling Flying Lotus that sometimes music runs through your blood, and you just can’t help it but let it flow and do your best to gift the world with it. And FlyLo has really gifted us with some of the most amazing music to date. The best thing about the dude is that he ain’t afraid of doing something new, breaking the boundaries, thinking outside of the box…which is why he totally digs Abel, great minds think alike.
